Key Stage 4

The Level 2 Creative Media course is designed to teach digital design skills and enable pupils to use digital tools to express their creativity in an informed and responsible way. This course will equip pupils with the knowledge, understanding and skills they need to design and make effective digital products for others to use, as well as to support their future learning and exploit the ever-growing creative digital industries. 

Key Stage 5

Our T Level Media, Broadcast & Production offers students hands-on experience in the exciting world of media, learning essential skills in video production, journalism, digital content creation and broadcast technology. They will explore storytelling techniques, camera operation, sound and lighting design, and post-production editing using industry-standard software. The course also covers media ethics, audience engagement, and the business of media, preparing pupils for careers in film, TV, radio, and digital media or further study in the creative industries. All T Level subjects include mandatory industry placements, giving students practical insights and work experience in real media settings.

Our media courses are supported by state-of-the-art equipment and facilities mirroring the demands and expectations of the ever-evolving media industry. Students have access to advanced cameras, new classrooms, editing facilities and up-to-date software, allowing them to create, edit, and produce high-quality content. Our multimedia studio is equipped with a green screen, studio lighting grid and audio recording facilities, providing the perfect environment for filming, streaming or podcasting.
