New from September 2026
From September 2026, we are pleased to be offering Classical Civilisation as an A Level course. The course explores the literature, art, politics and beliefs of ancient Greece and Rome. Students will engage with influential texts and ideas through epic poetry, Greek theatre, and Roman history, all studied in English translation. It develops strong analytical and essay-writing skills while encouraging a deeper understanding of the ancient world and its lasting impact.
