National Recognition for Reflection & Leadership

Kennet receives national accreditation by SSAT for its work in developing a culture of reflection and leadership driven by moral purpose.
Kennet School has been awarded national accreditation by SSAT in recognising its work in developing a culture of reflection and leadership driven by moral purpose.
The accreditation, part of SSAT’s Framework of Exceptional Education, recognises the school’s work in these areas as among the most effective practice nationally.
The recognition highlights Kennet’s long-standing commitment to reflective leadership, where leaders at all levels are encouraged to review and refine their work to ensure decisions are consistently guided by what is right for pupils.
Central to the accreditation is the school’s focus on leadership with moral purpose, ensuring that values, integrity and the best interests of pupils remain at the heart of decision-making across the school.
Mr A Tucker, Kennet School’s Assistant Headteacher and SSAT Lead, said: "This accreditation reflects something that is deeply embedded in our culture. Reflection is not a one-off exercise at Kennet but an ongoing commitment to improving what we do for our pupils.
"It is very much a collective achievement and a credit to colleagues across the school who are dedicated to leading with moral purpose and principle."
The accreditation process involved external evaluation against national standards, exploring how leadership and values translate into meaningful impact across the school community. This recognition further strengthens Kennet School’s reputation for high-quality education and principled leadership.
