Congratulations to our talented Year 8 & 9 drama pupils who took to the stage at The Lights Theatre in Andover last week. Performing Macbeth as part of the 2025/26 Shakespeare Schools Festival in front of a live audience, their hard work, passion and professionalism shone through in every scene. We are incredibly proud of them!
They relived the experience this week, delivering a fantastic private performance for our Year 7s, giving them a taste of what they could be part of next year, and for our Year 11s, who are currently studying Macbeth for their upcoming GCSE exams. Both groups were captivated. The feedback was brilliant, and our performers truly rose to the occasion.
Kennet School is proud to have held the Shakespeare in Schools Gold Award for several years, a reflection of our ongoing dedication to the arts and to giving pupils unforgettable creative opportunities.
Bravo to everyone involved… you were all outstanding!
