Kennet School is delighted with a fantastic set of GCSE results. Kennet’s study mornings and knowledge-rich curriculum has paid dividends. We are incredibly proud of the endeavour, resilience and focus demonstrated by our pupils, who, along with the guidance of our excellent staff, have achieved some brilliant results. The percentage of pupils passing English and Maths is an impressive 69% and 94% of pupils achieved 5+ passes across the board. Of particular importance is the exceptional performance in the top range of results, with 25% of pupils achieving a Grade 8 or above and 39% achieving a Grade 7 or above.

This whole school performance can only be secured with consistently high performance across all departments, but the following are noted for the impressive number of high-level grades (7-9): Biology, Chemistry, English Literature, Art, PE, Photography and Physics.

A special mention of the following pupils who achieved a suite of top GCSE grades:

  • Maia Bray 99999999999
  • Tashvee Khare 99999999998
  • Albert Lister 99999999998
  • Nigel Wong 99999999998

The school is tremendously proud of this year group and we look forward to watching the pupils as they transition into our Ofsted Outstanding and expanding Sixth Form, where greater opportunities in A Level and T Levels await.

We are excited this year to be welcoming an intake of Sixth formers from other schools; Kennet encourages applications from students who have met the entrance criteria and want to join our happy and thriving school.
