Kennet School's GCSE Digital Photography course focuses on the digital aspects of photography. Pupils learn the technical functions of DSLR cameras, explore creative photographic techniques, and develop their Photoshop skills for digital manipulation. The course encourages pupils to think creatively and incorporate various art techniques, such as three-dimensional work, illustration, stitching and printing, into their photographic projects.

Key Stage 5

The A Level Photography course provides an advanced study of both traditional darkroom practices and contemporary digital methods. In the first year, students build new techniques and develop their thematic projects through continual practical workshops and mini projects. By the second year, students create a diverse and exciting portfolio, culminating in an externally set assignment.
