The Design & Technology department at Kennet Sixth Form is exceptionally well-equipped and provides a dynamic space for students to develop both practical and digital skills. With two workshops, a CAD/CAM suite, a computer suite, two fabric-based studios, and a design studio, the department supports a wide range of creative projects. Equipment such as laser cutters, 3D printers, CRC machines and a heat treatment room, alongside specialist software, gives students valuable hands-on experience and prepares them for design-related careers.
Equally, the Sixth Form has excellent specialist photography facilities, supporting both digital and traditional techniques.
