HR and Operations Manager
Salary: £45,091-£53,460 (FTE), depending on experience
Hours: 37 hours per week (Monday-Friday), term time only (38 weeks per year) plus ten additional days
Working Hours: 8:30am to 5pm Monday to Thursday, 8:30am to 4:30pm Friday
An opportunity has arisen for a HR and Operations Manager to lead and coordinate key operational functions, ensuring the efficient running of our administrative, HR and support services. This is a varied and rewarding role overseeing core areas including HR administration, safer recruitment, payroll processes, attendance management and employee relations.
The role includes line management responsibility for the School MIS Manager, Data Manager, Cover & Lettings Administrator and Finance/HR Officer, ensuring these key functions operate effectively and collaboratively across the school.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team, providing confidential and timely administrative support whilst ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
We are looking for someone with HR experience and operational management experience strong organisational and communication skills, a positive and solution-focused approach, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment. Essential Qualifications and Experience
- CIPD Level 5 (or willingness to train)
- Experience in HR or school business administration, with previous people management experience desirable
- Strong understanding of GDPR, safeguarding and UK employment law.
