The sun was shining and so were our pupils as this year’s Sports Day proved to be one of our most exciting yet! With temperatures high and spirits even higher, the entire school came together for a spectacular day of athletics, teamwork and celebration.
From edge-of-your-seat sprints to jaw-dropping field event performances, pupils from every year group rose to the occasion, with multiple school records being shattered throughout the day. The enthusiasm was infectious, with each House bringing energy, pride and unwavering support to their teammates.
Headteacher, Ms Rigg, said: “The atmosphere was electric, thanks in no small part to the dedication and positivity of our pastoral team and staff, who kept momentum high and smiles wide. A heartfelt thank you goes to our exceptional PE department, whose tireless planning and organisation made the day a true success. Their behind-the-scenes efforts delivered an unforgettable event for pupils and staff alike.”
This year’s champions are:
Overall Sports Day Winners:St Patrick House
David Glare Award (Best Athletes):A. Lister & F. Bulloch
Pentathlon Champions:E. Alderman & C. Bailey
Congratulations to all our competitors for their outstanding effort and sportsmanship. Here's to another record-breaking Sports Day and the memories made along the way!
