Public Consultation

Have your say - Admission Changes for 2027

Kennet School, part of the Equinox Learning Trust, has launched a public consultation on proposed changes to its admissions arrangements from September 2027. The proposals include: - A reduction in the Published Admission Number (PAN) for Year 7 from 300 to 270, in line with demographic trends and financial sustainability. - The introduction of three local primary schools — Francis Baily, Spurcroft and Whitelands Park — as named feeder schools, giving pupils from these schools’ priority in admissions. The consultation runs from 6 October to 31 December 2025, and the school is inviting feedback from parents, carers, local schools, staff, governors, community groups and the local authority.

We Will Remember Them

We stand together, young and old,
to remember lives so brave and bold.

For peace they fought, for love they gave,
their memory lives beyond the grave.
