Remote learning provides an opportunity for pupils and teachers to remain connected and engaged with education while working from home. Typically used for snow days, it has become more prominent after we were early adopters of this technology during the COVID-19 pandemic.  

To ensure effective learning continues remotely, we endeavour to teach the same content remotely as we would in school, via our virtual learning environment, so pupils will experience the planned curriculum taught by their usual teacher. There may be some variation, particularly in practical subjects where we are limited by access to equipment or group activities. In some subjects, we might alter the sequence of what is being studied so that we cover the topics that are most suitable for delivering remotely.
