Psychology at Kennet School is one of our most popular and engaging subjects. Key Stage 5

Our A Level Psychology course explores the scientific study of human behaviour and mental processes, covering key topics such as memory, attachment, psychopathology, social influence and biopsychology. Students examine different psychological approaches, research methods and real-world applications, including forensic psychology and mental health. Through case studies and debates, they develop analytical, problem-solving and evaluation skills, making Psychology a valuable subject for a wide range of future careers.

Facilities

Our teaching staff are specialists in their fields and aim to transfer their passion for the subject to their students. Students have access to a wealth of information and resources to take their learning further via the school's virtual learning platform. We offer a number of enrichment activities, such as external guest speakers, which give our pupils a greater understanding of the context surrounding their learning.
