What is an Industry Placement?
An industry placement is a core part of every T Level. Students complete meaningful work within a real workplace, applying their technical knowledge and developing professional skills.
Placements are:
- Carefully planned in partnership with employers
- Supported by dedicated school staff
- Structured around clear learning objectives
- Monitored through regular contact and review.
We provide full guidance and support at every stage.
Ways Employers Can Get Involved
We offer flexible opportunities for organisations of all sizes. Employers can:
- Offer an industry placement
- Host a student in your organisation and provide structured, supervised experience aligned to their course - placement models vary depending on the T Level pathway
- Host a workplace visit
- Give students insight into how your organisation operates and the career opportunities available.
- Deliver a guest talk or workshop
- Share your expertise and inspire young people considering careers in your sector.
- Collaborate on live projects
- Set real employer briefs for students to work on as part of their qualification.
